Is the FBL your first furry convention? Wondering what it might be like? Look no further, this page is for you!
Furry conventions are very different from "Anime" type conventions found in a lot of places. Where some might expect a large commercial exhibition, furry conventions operate quite differently!
The biggest difference is the venue: a furry convention takes place in the hotel where most participants stay.
After checking into your room at the hotel reception, you can head to the Convention Operations (or Con-Ops) where you will receive your participant badge. This valuable pass will give you access to all the rooms where various activities, workshops, and performances take place throughout the convention. Depending on whether or not you've subscribed to our sponsor options, you may also receive a set of goodies.
Unlike Anime cons, the commercial aspect, while still present, takes up a smaller portion and is much more artisanal. The "Dealers' Den" is exclusively made up of furry artists selling their creations (commissions, prints, paintings, books, decorative items, clothing, etc.), and its availability does not cover the entire convention.
In any case, the convention staff will be there to help you feel at home and enjoy the event.

When will the FBL 2026 take place?
FBL 2026 will take place from October 28th to November 1st.
How much does it cost to join the FBL?

What is included with a registration?
Like last year, the purchase of your spot is combined with the hotel reservation.
This means that instead of buying a convention ticket separately and booking your hotel stay separately, you will now purchase a package that initially includes:
• Access to the full duration of the convention
• 4 nights at the H4 Hotel Wyndham Paris Pleyel Resort, including breakfast
(Room type and number of occupants to be chosen at registration)
• The FBL conbook
• An FBL badge + a lanyard
• An FBL sticker
Additional nights (early arrival and late departure) as well as sponsor options – which grant access to exclusive goodies and perks—can be added during registration.

What meals are included with my room?
Only breakfasts are included in room reservations at H4. To comply with 6-2-1, we invite you to enquire about nearby shops, delivery services or the hotel's restaurants.
Can I pay for my registration in installments?
Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to pay in installments, as it would generate significant additional costs and negatively impact the overall price we would have to offer everyone.
Will there be anything to pay for on site?
Unlike previous years, your hotel stay will already be paid at the time of registration, so you won’t have to cover these costs on-site.
Additionally, if you park at the hotel, you will need to pay the parking fees on-site (€20 per day).
Finally, only breakfast is included in your registration package. Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense. The hotel has two restaurants, and there are many dining options available in the surrounding area.
Can I add extra nights (early/late) to my booking after I have paid?
Yes!
You will need to make the request through our ticket system, category "Hotel Info & Queries", specifying your registration number, the nights you wish to add, and the number of people involved.
Once our team has processed your request, you will be asked to pay for the additional night(s).
Can we pay the FBL Pass on site?
No. For security and practical reasons, we do not offer payment on site. Passes must be paid before the closing date for registrations, via the dedicated online site, for your participation to be taken into account and valid.
Can I get my Pass refunded?
None of the FBL Passes are refundable. However, you can transfer your paid Pass to another participant.
Where does the money from the Passes go?
The majority of the budget is used to pay for the rental of the rooms, the sound and light equipment and the rights holders' fees for the music played during the dances and other musical events. The rest is used to buy goodies for the packages (FBL Pass and Sponsor option), buy and maintain the association's equipment (badge printer, equipment for the Fursuit Lounge and the Dealers' Den) and to already prepare the following FBL! The entire FBL staff is made up of volunteers, including the Board, Con-Ops, and Safety. All the panel organisers and the artists who perform on the Main Stage also do so free of charge.
Are minors accepted at the FBL?
No. To enter the FBL, you must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the convention, even if accompanied by an adult.
Are we allowed to bring pets?
Although the hotel allows pets such as dogs, we kindly ask that you do not bring them to the event, for the safety and well-being of other participants as well as the animals themselves.
Animals will not be permitted in the convention areas, except for assistance dogs (Upon presentation of supporting documentation).
Does the hotel have a car park? How much does it cost?
The H4 hotel has a car park, at €20 per day per car for FBL participants, instead of the initial rate of €35/day. Payment must be made at the hotel reception. Reserved spaces for holders of a Mobility Inclusion Card are also available at the same rate.
In the case where the car park would be full, other car parks are available nearby. To guarantee a space, you can book them via One Park.
There are also various parking facilities in the surrounding streets.

How long do I have to pay?
You have 7 days from the creation of the room (as soon as the room type is selected). This period is not reset when a roommate is added.
Please note: as the countdown starts as soon as the room is created, all roommates must have paid before the end of the period.
