Rules

Article 1: The FBL Board reserves the right to refuse a table or space at the Dealers' Den to anyone at its sole discretion.

Article 2: The Board FBL reserves the right to prohibit the sale of any goods or services it deems inappropriate at any time, to close a table, or to issue other requests to which you must comply, without refund or compensation of any kind.

Article 3: The FBL event only offers a free space for exhibitors and is not responsible for transactions between attendees and exhibitors. Consequently, the Anthrofur association and the Board FBL cannot be involved in any disputes between attendees and exhibitors.

Article 4: The FBL Board will not tolerate any abuse towards a member of the FBL Staff, another exhibitor or an attendee. Any incident of this type may lead to expulsion from the Dealers' Den, or even from the FBL, without reimbursement or compensation.

Article 5: Exhibitors must not actively sell or solicit business outside the Dealers' Den. Any ‘hawking’ activity is illegal in public spaces (art. 446-1 of the French Penal Code) and may result in prosecution.

Article 6: We strongly advise you to be ready at your table when the Dealers' Den opens to the public. If you have not occupied your table by midday on the first day of opening, we reserve the right to assign it to another exhibitor without prior notice.

Article 7: Do not disrupt the activities of exhibitors or FBL staff.

Article 8: Keep the aisles clear; you may store your goods under your table. No one must sit in front of your table.

Article 9: Exhibitors are responsible for keeping the area around their table clean at all times. Rubbish bins will be available for you to dispose of your rubbish.

Article 10: Apart from any exceptional authorisation, photo/video equipment is prohibited in the Dealers' Den.

Article 11: The Anthrofur association and the Board FBL decline all responsibility for goods lost, stolen or damaged during the convention, unless caused by our own negligence. A lost property collection will be carried out by the FBL Safety team, and communications will be made during the event regarding said lost property.

Article 12: Although we would prefer that only merchandise associated with the Furry community be sold in the Dealers' Den, generally associated merchandise, such as manga and related products, are accepted.

Article 13: We do not accept the entry and sale of drinks and food in the Dealer's Den, however you may place pre-packaged industrial treats on your table.

Article 14: In accordance with the regulations for our rented areas, it is not permitted to consume food or drinks from outside the hotel in the Dealers' Den. However, a reasonable quantity of food and drink may be brought in, and only for exhibitors who do not wish to close their stand during their meal break, as long as this does not disturb neighbouring exhibitors and does not include the use of cooking appliances.

Article 15: Any breach of these rules will be recorded for future reference.

Article 16: If you have any doubts about these rules, please contact the Dealers' Den organising team before the convention via the https://help.fblacklight.org website.

Article 17: Out of respect for the exhibitors‘ installations and for optimum traffic conditions, the wearing of fursuits and other bulky accessories are not permitted within the Dealers’ Den enclosure. Large saddlebags, backpacks and shopping bags are also prohibited. Only small handbags/banana bags and bags distributed or sold by exhibitors are permitted to be held in the hand.

Article 18: Electrical appliances used by exhibitors must comply with current European standards and must be checked by the FBL Safety team before installation. We do not supply adapters of any kind and the availability of electrical sockets must be requested in advance and cannot be guaranteed.

Article 19: The display and sale of material of a sexual or offensive nature is authorised under certain conditions. In the Dealers' Den area, this material must be kept in a container (case, box or folder) closed between each consultation and marked appropriately for the attention of the public. In the ‘After Dark’ area of the Dealers' Den, this material may be placed freely on the tables for public consultation.

Article 20: It is strictly forbidden to sell or use for commercial purposes any drawings or artworks created using artificial intelligence.

In case of doubt as to the understanding or interpretation of these conditions, the French version shall prevail.
