Hotel Area & Shuttle

For those who don’t know, our new hotel is located near the Charles De Gaulle airport, and it’s super easy to join us from here ! You can reach the Hyatt in multiples ways:

  • Approx. 5 minutes by car (Taxi, Uber,…)
  • Approx. 10 minutes by bus (Bus line 350)
  • Approx. 15 min by free shuttle bus

How the free shuttle bus service is working?

You may take the shuttle from Terminal 2 TGV station level 5, Platform 2 (for minibus), where the hotel shuttle stop is located. The shuttle is an 8 seater minibus, with a large boot. Don’t forget that the length of the trip depends on traffic.

This free service is working from 5am to 11:40pm every 20 minutes, 7 days a week.

What’s around the hotel?

Our new hotel is located near the “Aéroville” shopping center where you’ll be able to find a lot of shops, restaurants and even a cinema!

The shopping center also got a free shuttle bus service with the hotel, working from 10am to 8:30pm.

And inside the hotel?

In addition to the lobby, patio and other common areas of the hotel, here are some of the hotel’s amenities, accessible by attendees who are sleeping at the hotel:

  • 24/7 Market with to-go food, drinks and souvenirs
  • A pool / sauna / jacuzzi

Registrations open!

The moment has finally arrived, the registration for the FBL # 8 is open! Below, we detail you the procedure of registration for the FBL and to book your room. (-Illustration: (c) Grou-)

Step 1: Creating your account
Create your user account on the registration website. The system will send you a first automatic email containing a link to validate your email address. Once you have confirmed your email address, go to step 2.

Step 2: Registration for the FBL
Fill out the registration form. Fields marked with * are required. The box “early arrival” is only for statistical purpose to allow us to know how many participants would arrive on October 30th. Once your form is completed, it is submitted to a manual validation by the Registration team. You will receive a second automatic email signifying that the validation of your registration is in progress.
This phase can take time depending on the number of simultaneous registrations and the time of day (all our team members are volunteers). Once your registration is validated by the Registration team, editing of almost all the fields will be possible only by contacting the staff using the contact form of the registration site.

Note: this year, the avatars on the badge will be in large format and a special mask tells you which part of the image will be hidden by the graphics of the badge. Be sure to place your avatar so that no important part is hidden by the mask and please respect the minimal dimensions recommended on the form to have a badge of optimal quality.

Step 3: Validation and Badge Number
Once your registration is manually validated by the Registration team, you will receive a third and last automatic email confirming that your registration has been taken into account, giving you your badge number (which will be useful to you several times, take good note of it) and inviting you to pay your registration fee. Go to step 4.

Step 4: Payment
Follow the Paypal link now available on your home page to proceed to the payment of your registration fees, knowing that the total amount is reminded to you next to the link. It takes into account:
– your registration fee for the FBL (50 € before 1st May 2019, 60 € between 1st May and 30th September 2019);
– the Sponsor option, if you checked the box (+ 30 € );
– the possible donation to the association that you would like to make and would have indicated during your registration.

For administrative reasons, dance party fees appear separately on your bill but are included in the basic registration fee at the FBL.

Step 5: Book your room
Once your registration is validated and paid, you will have access to the booking procedure for the room. As in other years, only one person makes the booking for the whole room. It is only possible to book at the discounted rate for the FBL through the link provided on the registration site page by following the instructions detailed therein.
